: Membership email

With Rosh Hashanah approaching the shul would like to officially welcome everybody back, as well as welcome all new Mispalellim who have joined us over the summer.

As we have done in the past, we ask for your continued support to help our Kehilah. The suggested annual membership is $475 per family which includes 1 men’s and 1 women’s seat for the Yomim Noraim. Additional seat prices are suggested as $125 for an adult and $75 for a child.

The Shul has Baruch Hashem established itself as a makom of tefilla and learning both with full time members and non-fulltime members. As such we ask if the non-fulltime members to please contribute to our membership campaign with the suggested donation amount of $250 (please let us know if you would like to come for Yomim Noraim). We greatly appreciate your participation both in our campaign as well as your presence in our Shul.

If you will be paying by credit card, please to do so through the shul link www.secure.merchpay.com/km, please state membership in the description box and any comments about seats in the dinner ad text box. Please note that every effort will be made to accommodate everyone with the seats they have/would like. However, we apologize in advance if we are unable to do so, please know we are doing our best to make as many people happy as possible.

Chaim Cywiak will be in the Shul this Motzai Shabbos approximately 30 minutes before Slichos for all who wish to pay by check/cash.

If you are unable to attend Motzai Shabbos please email KollelMakarovSeats to make arrangements for seats and payments include your full name and the number of seats needed (Men/Woman/Children).

If a member of the shul will not be with us for Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kipper please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan the seating chart accordingly for the Yomim Noraim. Even if you plan to only be with us for one day, please let us know which day that will be.

While it may seem obvious to some, we ask that even if you do purchase a seat for your child (Men and Women) to please be courteous and give the seat to any adult you may you see that does not have a seat (we will gladly refund any money should anyone take issue with this request). Please note that every effort will be made to make sure everyone who would like to daven with us has a seat, we will be giving priority to our members and a first come, first serve basis to outsiders.

Membership, seats for Yom tov, as well as our annual Malava Malka is where the shul collects most of the donations needed to cover the many expenses we have. However, it does not cover all of our expenses. To help with this the shul will be continuing the פרנס החודש and, monthly utilities sponsorship. If you would like to sponsor please contact Eli Rosengarten or the Rav about availability and pricing.

Wishing you and your family a Chasiva Ve’Chasima Tova and a Gut Gebenched Year.

Parnas Hachodesh is sponsored by Mr and Mrs Avi Goldman Lezecher Nishmas Lezecher Nishmas Yosef Melech Ben Mordechai MeirUtilities for the month of Elul are sponsored by Mr and Mrs Jow Wohlgemuth

As you know, we are Zoche to have a Kollel be learning full time in our Shul this year. The expenses of the Shul will be exponentially larger and AC (and eventually heating) is needed an entire day. To help cover the costs, we are trying to get commitments in advance for both Parnas and Utilities. We BH have sponsors for the month of Elul and already have Parnas covered for Tishrei. Please let us know if you can commit to either for the coming months as the Shul’s bills will be significantly larger than they have ever been. Thank you and Tizku Limitzvos!

Welcoming Our New Kollel

B’Chasdei Hashem I would like to let everyone know that starting Rosh Chodesh Elul our kehila will be hosting the Marine Park Kollel. The Kollel will be learning in our shul three sedarim a day. After meeting with the kollel Yungeliet I was most impressed by they’re friendly personalities and they’re seriousness in Torah and Avodah. They’re looking forward to becoming part of our kehila and getting to know us. Be"h the constant learning and Davening taking place in our shul will have a huge impact on our lives and the lives of our families.
If anyone has any ideas of how to make this a most successful endeavor or if you would like to be involved in helping to launch this project please contact me.

May the zchus Hatorah proctect us and bring to our homes tremendous Bracha in all areas of our lives.

Zvi Tversky
